How Much Does Wisdom Cost?

"In our scholarships, it is God's wisdom, not our own, that comes into play!"
The other day I posted about the school fair we went to, wherein representatives from various American universities visited Manila to invite our students or open the possibility for our Filipino students to take college in the US.
Going over the brochures and flyers, for SY 2017-2018, the average school fee for international students in a US school plays around 40-45k USD, or when you are lucky enough to get financial aid or scholarship, the cost would run roughly around 20k-25k USD for a year. By the way, these are public US universities.
Here in the Philippines, the top local private universities will extract some 150k-200k PHP (or 3k-4k USD) out of Momma's pocket a year, whereas school fees for good international schools here in the country run from P500,000 to 2M (10k USD to 40k USD).
That is how expensive education is in our children's generation.
So much about the school fees and all, in my quiet time today, I was led to read the entire Chapters 3 and 4 of Proverbs which give us enlightenment on words "WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING".
Proverbs 3❤️ I find Proverbs 3:5-6 quite comforting as it says: " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths."
Looking back at the many years of leaning on God, I just want to repeatedly praise Him for all his favor.
As to the schooling of my sons alone, for instance, Zecheriah "Strong" got accelerated and went straight to Grade One in international school MGIS ( aside from earning "bragging rights", the same had saved us financially around P300k or 6K USD), next he was given a full scholarship for straight four years amounting to roughly P2M or 40K USD.
God's fountain of wisdom and graciousness did not end up with Strong, as along with it, my older son Ezekiel "Zekie" was also granted a full scholarship amounting to more or less P2.5M (50k USD).
Afterwards, however, due to curriculum changes (K-12) and other factors, I decided to transfer my children to Victory Christian International School where they are currently on Home Study Program using Bob Jones USA curriculum while they are being prepared for real life (undergoing one-on-one special skills training, workshops, and honing of talents outside of the school).
Incidentally, upon entry to VCIS, I was surprised to learn that, again, my boys would be full scholars. And as a bonus, Zekie had another international exchange scholarship opportunity allowing him to explore different schools in Italy last year, 2016. The cost for experience of studying in Europe and meeting people of another culture? PRICELESS!
By the way, it is mandatory for Zekie to attend a regular school for SY 2017-2018 as he enters his Senior High. I am looking at Southville International School or the regular school of Victory Christian International School (VCIS).
❤️❤️❤️
Who can grasp Your infinite wisdom, Lord?
Our God is bigger than our needs! Our God is bigger than our dreams!
